Albion Middle School eighth grade Enrichment Class students Anakin Bowman and Brayden Lindke put the finishing touches on a historic marker this week.
On Tuesday, March 5, 2024, Bowman and Lindke finished up the pole of the "Fording Place" historic marker located at the corner of Oak Orchard Rd and Clark Mills Rd. in Carlton.
This is part of an ongoing restoration project with historian Melissa Irelan. The marker has been remounted by the Town of Carlton Highway Dept. It was originally installed in 1932.
