A trio of Purple Eagles received All-State Class B football recognition for the 2022 season.
Wide receiver/defensive back Javon Jones was named to the second team, quarterback/defensive back Amari Jones to the third team and lineman Nick Radder was honorable mention.
Javon Jones had 11 touchdowns on the season, eight of those via 30 receptions for 300 yards with an additional 300 yards on the ground. He finished with 34 tackles and five interceptions.
Amari Jones guided the offense with 20 total touchdowns. He totaled 1,076 passing yards with an additional 612 rushing yards. On the defensive side of the ball, he contributed with 53 tackles and five interceptions.
Radder was a big part of the team’s success as he anchored both the offense and defense on the line. He was a honoree for the prestigious Trench Trophy, which identifies the Western New York Lineman of the Year, following the team’s week seven victory.
All three completed their senior year on the gridiron this season.
